One of those great days

Today is one of those great days when good things happen unexpected and in packs. I found May 2005 issue of Linux Journal laying on my table when I came to the office. On top of it was an envelope with a cheque for 600 CYP from the insurance company (covering Maxim’s coming to this world). Great day indeed. :)

8 weeks

Just to let everyone know that this bag of milk and poo that can suck harder than a vacuum cleaner and produce the most adorable smiles the world has ever seen is 8 weeks today. He is doing just fine, especially right now, sleeping on my lap and causing me to type this post with one hand.

Fingerwork is gone

Olga accidentally noticed today that Maxim’s fingerwork is gone. His has a lot more control over his bodyparts these days. His fingers are usually closed tightly into fists. Only when he studies some object or surface he uses his fingers sporadically.

I find it interesting how unnoticed the change was. We used to watch Maxim’s fingers all the time. It was lots of fun. Than something happened and we switched our attention to something else. Probably those were his smiles, but I can’t be sure now. After some time passed we noticed that his fingers behave differently. We could as well missed the change all together.

Life goes on…
