OK, I new that Goatse.cx was popular and well-known around the web, but not that popular. It turns out that even Wikipedia has an article about it.

It is a well known fact that technical support personnel has to answer most stupid questions out there on planet Earth. Well, sometimes, in order to minimize the number of such questions they create Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) lists, Knoweldge Bases, and other sections on their websites. I’ve got an excellent example of this in my inbox today:

Confidence

Watched “Confidence” on DVD. I think that “CONfidence” makes for a better title, since “Confidence” doesn’t say anything at all, while “CONfidence” might suggest that it is a con movie, which is what it exactly is.

There are way too many con movies out there. This is one is among the very good ones. It is just below such jewels as “Ocean’s Eleven” and “Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels”. It has a good story, nice pace, cool guys, hot chicks, competition, and what not. Many celebrities are in this one too: Rachel Weisz, Leland Orser, Paul Giamatti, Luis Guzmï¿½n, Dustin Hoffman.

I’ll rate it as a 8 out of 10. It is actually one of those 8s which are very close 9. But not exactly there. Maybe soundtrack could have been better. But a good rent anyways.

Biggest ever motor show

According to Xak.com, there is currently a huge motor show held in Nicosia. Here is the article describing the event.

What to see:

The largest exhibitor this year is the Tseriotis Group encompassing Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda cars.

But the likes of BMW, Mercedes, Renault, Opel, Chevrolet, Nissan, Toyota, Lexus, Peugeot, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Porsche, Ford, Honda, Citroen, Mazda, Suzuki, Iveco, Lotus, Subaru, Vauxhall, Hyundai, Subaru, Volvo, and Rover will all put in a strong showing with many taking up exhibition space of around 600 square metres.

When:

Opening hours Wednesday to Friday are 6pm-10.30pm, Saturday 4pm-11pm and Sunday 11am to 10:30pm.

How much:

Entrance fee for adults is 3CYP and 1CYP for students.

Preliminary, we are planning a visit there on Sunday afternoon.
