Looks like me

Have you ever seen a picture or a drawing of a person that you thought looked like you?  I’ve asked around and seems to be quite a rare occasion.  Well, the other day I came across a drawing which seems to be of me.  Or of my inner me.  Or of a person I want to be.  Either way, I relate to the drawing.

The drawing was done by a well known artist Jason Seiler.  There are quite a few more in his blog.

My LiveJournal is no more

This is just a quick update to let all of you know that I deleted my LiveJournal account.  It’s been a long while since I used it.  I didn’t see any value in it anymore. And it was getting so much spam that I decided to get rid of it altogether.  All entries in my journal were deleted, while all community posts and comments that I made are still there.  From now on, if I ever want to comment on someone’s LiveJournal entry, I’ll use my Twitter or Facebook or WordPress or Google credentials.

Hopefully, this will give me a little more time to update my blog, Twitter, Google+, and whatever else I will meet on the way. Thank you for understanding.  Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Searching for Larry King

The other day I was having an argument about interviewers.  Of course, I had to mention Larry King, who’s name escaped me at the time.  For some reason, my tired brain was suggesting Stephen King, who is obviously a totally other person.  Google will tell you everything there is to know about a man, if you give it a name.  But how do you search for a person’s name when you don’t remember it?  Gladly, Larry King was easy to find.  A search for “interviewer glasses suspenders” answered my question in seconds.

33 down, 66 to go

I’m 33 today.  Feels exactly the same as yesterday and a year ago.  But getting all those best wishes from people all around the world is, of course, super cool!  Thank you all so much.

And while we are on the subject of age, here is a screenshot of hilarious comment from this Linux Questions thread (kudos to Chris for the link):
