Bootstrap 4 alpha has been released. After a few more alphas, and a couple of betas, we’ll have a new and much improved Twitter Bootstrap. Though it seems like just yesterday I was looking forward to the release of Bootstrap 3.
Can you imagine that Bootstrap is only 4 years old? It feels like I’ve been using it forever. And the rest of the Internet seems to agree…

I am still using V2 for emboss look. V3 is too flat as well as V4. Nested menus are still missing in V4?
Alex Titoff the flat design, I guess, comes from the Google Material Design guidelines (https://www.google.com/design/spec/material-design/introduction.html) … as for the nested menus – even if they are not part of the framework out of the boxes, somebody somewhere will figure out a way to add them. It’s the first Alpha release anyway :)
