Booby show on TV

There is this post at Blogging Baby about a TV show that covers a really sad story. There is this girl that wants to have bigger boobs and all

Tired of being poor with hardly any job options, she wants to get a boob job so she can land herself a gangster boyfriend, called a traqueto for the sound the machine gun makes, so she can be set for life. She goes into prostitution, but can’t find any clients due to her small bust size.

Just reading the above paragraph makes me smile, which kind of answers Blogging Baby’s question:

If we had a show like that here, would you watch it?

Yes. Indeed. Very much so. I’d probably even download it off the web. And even pay for it.

If you have your own take on the role boobs play in man’s life, feel free to share in the comments. Try to avoid the standard theories that involve mothers and breast milk. Thank you.

Firefox feature brainstorming

If you are not happy with Mozilla Firefox browser, it’s about time to visit Firefox/Feature Brainstorming – MozillaWiki and express your concerns.

We are currently in the early development stage for Firefox 3, and would like to collect all the ideas for feature enhancements in a single place. Our goal is to create a single index that lists what sorts of things we’re thinking of doing, with links to more detailed ideas about implementation specifics or concerns, and targets for inclusion in the project.

If you think that Mozilla Firefox is the perfect browser and it should stay as it is, visit the link above to get some ideas of what people miss or want changed. Fascinating read that is, I tell you.

Site Review: Got Vox? at The Blog Herald

For those of you who thought that there is nothing no more they can add to blogging tools and social networks, The Blog Herald (don’t you just love how it sounds?) has this review of Vox web site.

What makes Vox unique from other social networks is the ease of posting new content. Users can inside their WYSIWYG editor search and post video’s from YouTube and iFilm, or images from Flickr, Photobucket as well as a variety of other tools. Users can also search Vox to see what other users are talking about, and even check out recommended books.

Without even checking out the web site, I can add that what makes Vox unique from other social networks is the 3-letter domain name. But do they matter anymore?

Moved, despite the earthquake

The move (that I warned you about) to a new hosting facility is done. There are still some bits and pieces that need to be fixed, but all the main components are done now. If you notice any glitches, please, let me know.

While I was copying the data and configuring the new server, there was an earthquake here in Cyprus. According to European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), it measured 4.7 on Richter scale. The center of the earthquake was about 8 kilometers away from Agia Napa. Here is the map for the EMSC website (click here for the larger version):

Earthquake map

Sitting on the 5th floor (which is actually 6th floor, I guess), I could feel the earthquake very very well. And, although, earthquakes of this magnitude rarely cause any damage, feeling them is something I can live without.
