Yet again another very long break from movies. But this time I’ve got a backlog of good films (read: highly recommended by people, who’s opinions I respect) to watch. So, I started off with “The Weather Man“.

My rating: 8.0 
Very very very solid movie. Everything is just so good about it - the story, the way it was told, the moods, the acting, the sound… I especially liked the ending. Finally, something fresh from Hollywood. It made the whole film stand as a whole.
While watching the film, several times I’ve caught myself thinking that I am nothing at all like Nicolas Cage character. I was so sure. But then few moments later I would question myself - am I really so different? Well, I am different. But, unfortunately, I am not “nothing at all”.
While certainly no one is perfect, it’s nice to see a film that provokes this sort of thinking.
