Global warming

According to several media sources, Cyprus experienced the hottest and the driest November this year, since 1900. That’s more than a hundred years. And so far, I don’t see any change coming. Do you?

Creatures of nature

A lot of people, me included, are afraid of the deep sea waters. There’s just something worrisome about all that water, that even a power such as sun can’t fully penetrate. Water, darkness, silence – not the most comforting mix. And then, there are creatures. Creatures of nature.

When some of these things are in the water, I don’t want to be anywhere near there. Even though they are probably small and don’t attack people ever. I don’t care.

Subjects of microphotography

Have a look at these photos. They were taken through an electronic microscope. Some of the creatures you know – things like ants, wasps, and flies. Others you don’t. But the pictures are stunning anyway. Alien-like organisms on our own planet. Just too tiny for us to see.
