MailWise – Email for Exchange & Hotmail
If you are one of those poor souls stuck with MS Exchange (like yours truly), here is one application you would absolutely love on your Android device – MailWise. Â This app replaces your default email client with all the same functionality, except it makes those horribly long, backward-quoted emails and disclaimerified signatures much much shorter. Â Like this:
It’s one of those things that you constantly try to learn to ignore, but which comes back to annoy you on a daily basis. Â And now, it’s solved. Â Awesome!
Android now has 1 billion active users
Google is releasing some stats at their Google I/O event. Â According to The Next Web, they’ve now switched from device activation counters to 30-day user activity metric. Â Here’s how the growth over the last few years looks like:
That’s a lot in my book. Â With about 7 billion people living in the world, that’s 1 in every 7 people on the planet uses an Android device.
