Sewerage system

Here is the website of Japanese sewerage system. Most of the information at the site is useless for me, since I don’t read Japanese. I am not even sure it is in Japanese. And I am not even sure it is a website of a sewerage system. Non-the-less, pictures there are just magnificant. They are so surrealistic, like they are screenshots of some computer game or stopped frames of some sci-fi movie.

Amazing!

I have made a few pictures today while at “MOTORshow 2004”. Some are good, others are not. After extensive filtering and some postprocessing I have published 89 images. Picking one favourite wasn’t too difficult though. This image somehow stands out for me.

MOTORshow 2004

Subaru Outback

Finally, I managed to visit the “MOTORshow 2004”. There was plenty to see. Cars, bikes, tires, equipment, and anything else that has to do with motor vehicles. Most of the Japanese and Europeancar makers were represented, together with some American and Korean. There was a section with retro cars organized by Cyprus Automobile Association. There were some sport cars. All in all there were 6 huge pavilions. 3 CYP were defenitely worth it.

I have also made a few photographs while at that.

I’ve got 4 pictures for today. I attempted to do a bit more of the night photography, but that type of work does require a tripod. Even when you have a solid base to put your camera on. In fact, my base was too solid – it was a part of the building outside the window. The problem with it was that I couldn’t adjust it in any matter what-so-ever.

Today’s sunrise was amazing. There were no ships in the sea and the colors of the sun and clouds were very contrastish. Sun was also very red. The kind you get at sunsets, not sunrises.

I will probably start hating myself soon for all the pictures of sunrises, sea at sunrise, and ships in the sea at sunrises that I have taken. Well, what can I do? I hope that we will have some working place rearrangements at our office soon…

Yet another two pictures. I have tried to postprocess them a bit differently, so that they are not so obviously the same as all the other pictures I have taken from this window.
