I really liked this caricature by Denis Lopatin, which I saw in this article.

Satirical illustrations by Pawel Kuczynski
One thing that I really don’t like is when people use someone else’s work without giving credit. Today I came across a few images which I really liked, but which were shared without any mention of the author. It took me a few minutes to establish that what I saw were satirical illustrations by a famous Polish artists Pawel Kuczynski.
The fact that I don’t really enjoy this particular drawing style didn’t stop me from enjoying many of the ideas pictured. There are takes on anything – society, war, technology, fashion, environment, and more. Have a look at more of his work. Below are a few of my favorites.
Typewriter – an ASCII art parent
I’ve known about ASCII art forever. I came across it even before I first connected to the Internet. And while I new it was an old concept, I never knew how old it was. Apparently, ASCII art predecessor was typewriter art. Wikipedia has this to say:
Since 1867 typewriters have been used for creating visual art. The oldest known preserved example of typewriter art is a picture of a butterfly made in 1898 by Flora Stacey. In the 1954 short film Stamp Day for Superman, typewriter art was a feature of the plot.
Why would I suddenly remember an ancient topic like this, you ask? Because I came across some of the typewriter art and it’s awesome!
CPU vs. GPU
I indeed wish that science classes were like this absolute fantastic demonstration of a CPU vs. GPU. Even if you have no idea what either of those abbreviations mean, you still have to watch it.
