Too many abbreviations?

I just received a legitimate work email that looked very much like:

Hi. Pls rst IIS to NTP on PRP. Thx. Bye.

It took me longer to expand all abbreviations than it would the sender to type all the words in full, even if he’s using half a finger to do so. Awkward.
