Yes Leonid – this is also why it’s so important to write titles that are relevant to the content on the page, this increases the likelihood that it will be shown as is. And that the user who will click on it will find what was expected!

yes, that is true. However, the surprise for me was that Google actually does modify the titles sometimes. I haven’t heard of this before. I guess my titles are fine. :)
