With time more tools are also introduced to check the live DNS propagation results. One of them is https://dnschecker.org/. Personally, I used that tool, compared to whatsmydns.net. DNSChecker.org has over 100+ public severs available to check the live propagation results, and you can add your own custom DNS server as well.
