It was terribly hot here in Limassol for the past couple of days. The temperatures were above +38C in the shadow. This is more than 6 degrees higher than average temperature for this time of year. And it all started very fast too.
One of the ways to combat this heat wave, I realized, is sauna. I had two sessions today (15 and 5 minutes respectively) in the sauna at my gym. When I went outside after, it felt like a warm spring evening. Sweet.
Where did you get measurement of +38C in the shadow? I believe it was around +33C. Still hot, though.
It was on TV. And few cars’ termometers showed temperatures this high.
On Friday I went to my usual morning training and the thermometer in my car showed +36+37. And it was at 10a.m. I can imagine, what was at 2 p.m.
