I went to the cinema today to see “Two Weeks Notice“. I wasn’t laughing out loud, but it was a nice comedy. Especially, considering what they are feeding us lately.

Random bits
Slow day.
Lots of glitches due to weekends Exchange upgrade.
I’ve upgraded (finally) my home network from 10Mbps hub to a 100Mbps switch. Some of the CAT5 cables refused to work at all, others gave 25-75% packet loss. After a blind change, everything works like a charm.

My brother‘s birthday. I’ve got totally wasted… actually, I hardly remember myself getting that drunk. Nice party though. And we found a new bar to hang out. It will need some draught beer and music enhancements, but it is a good start.
Axis webcam
Lots of playing with Axis network camera. Yummy. Good frame rate, good quality, intuitive web interface, motion detector, etc. Movies all the way.
