Last night, while driving back home from work, I saw crowds of people gathering in the churches, along my way. They all had candles in their hands, and they were wearing their best holiday clothes. Cheer and joy was in the atmosphere.

Despite my stand on religion, on think that it is an amazing thing that so many people have a common reason to join each other for celebrations. That’s, what I think, it’s all about. That was one of the original forces behind the whole religion and church business - to give people yet another reason for joy and to bring them closer to each other. Socializing in the warm and kind atmosphere is pure good in my book.

Those of you, taking part in such gatherings, I applaud.
