I love photography. For me, it’s like painting, but better. And more accurate. And unlike painting, I can actually participate. I am not a big success or great master by any means. But I enjoy taking pictures. I also enjoy looking at other people work and sometimes sharing it. When I do, this is the category that I use.
Yesterday Olga opened the blinds on the window in our bedroom. It was the first time in almost 9 years. And it was the first time that I saw through that window. It has roughly the same point of view as our balcony, but the whole thing is very refreshing to the eye.
So I grabbed my camera and shot a few pictures. Today I shot a few more.

Olga and I went to our caretaker today for a routine check. Dr.Tatiana Lavrennikova kindly allowed me to make a few pictures. (Not to mention that Olga surprisingly agreed). Anyway, it was a bit dark for shooting there, because the screen of ultrasound machine is turned towards the window, so it was curtained (blinded if you wish).

A bunch of guys who use remotely controlled airplanes for photography combined a bunch of images all made on the same day – January 1st, 2005 – and published the result on the web. The results are here.
I just wish there were more of them and that they would do things like that more often… Very nice.
Olga and I were shopping today and so we bought a whole bunch of fruits. Strawberry was very good – sweet and tasty with an excellent aroma spreading blocks and blocks. We have also purchased two exostic fruits. They didn’t look or feel familiar so we bougth only one of each to try. One of them had a name “Granadilla” attached and simple instructions on how to eat it. Another one remains nameless, but I ate it anyway. It wasn’t very good or tasty. Granadilla was kind of sweet and nice and I liked it.

I do it rarely these days, but trust me, I still into photography and my “Picture of the day” project. It’s just that I want to refresh the project with some new subjects instead of the usual sunrises, ships in the sea and electrical appliences in my house. Today’s post is a picture of a cup of tea and piece of an apple pie.
