After watching Michael Moore’s documentaries (“Bowling for Colombine” and “Farhenheit 9/11”) I got interested in his earlier work. “Canadian Bacon” is the only film so far I managed to get my hands on.

My rating: 7.0 [rate 7.0]
Funny. Hilarious even. Grotesque and satire all the way!
While being funny though, this film touches on many serious issues that Moore continues to explore in his later movies – gun control, violance, mass media, population political awareness, etc. Pieces of this movie are recognisable in his later work and it is interesting to see them in two different lights – documentary and comedy.
Resume: watch it – you won’t regret.
