I’ve seen plenty of awesome gymnastics videos on YouTube, but this one still stands up there with the best ones. Â I wish they’d do more stuff like this on the actual Olympic Games. Â Maybe more people would’ve watched them.
P.S.: And, yes, if you were wondering, I watched this clip with while laying on a couch, with a can of beer in my hand.
If you have never heard about Youth Olympics Games, don’t worry. Â Not many people did, I guess. Â 2010 is the first year that the event has been organized and hosted in Singapore. Â If it wasn’t for the Big Picture blog, I would’ve still not known about it though. Â There are a few excellent pictures here.
A few weeks ago I went to the cinema to watch the movie re-make of the 1983 TV series – “The A-Team“. Â I haven’t seen the original, but I’ve heard a lot about it. Â As for the new movie – I only saw the trailer, and I was hooked. Â It seemed like my kind of action movie.
And it turned out to be even better than I expected. Â From the first few moments, the film sets the mood and establishes itself as an entertainment-only flick. Â What follows a non-stop waterfall of action and witty humor. Â As far as action comedy goes, I think it’s one of the best films in the last few years. Â Sure, “Iron Man” had its share of jokes, but “The A-Team” took it way beyond. Â Just the scene of the A-Team using the tank to fight while falling down from the airplane is worth the money for the ticket. Â But there is so much more!
Highly recommended for a fun Friday evening. Â 5 out of 5.
