I am not a big fan of Hugh Grant. He is always acting the same and all his movies are somewhat similar. I don’t know though if they look alike because of Hugh Grant or just because he starrs in the similar movies.
This one was one of the best films with him that I’ve seen so far. It nicely mixes comedy with drama and romance. The film starts off as something very light and entertaining, but slowly progressing into a thought provoking drama.
I also think that this film shows the life’s complexity very nicely. It adds some sugar and dramatism here and there, but overall does a pretty good job.
