Minor downtimes
You could have experienced a few minor downtimes today (couple of minutes each). By brother helped me to upgade my server a bit. Now it has 768 MBytes of RAM. Things should work better…
The Compleat Steve
The Compleat Steve is a nice website about the work and life of Steve Martin – writer, actor, producer. There are plenty of pictures, articles by and about him, and fan-maintained blog which delivers the news about the celebrity.
Kung-Fu Konstruction Kit
There is an excellent set of tips for creating Kung-Fu special type special effects at “Kung-Fu Konstruction Kit“. Texts are small and explain stuff really good. Pictures, video clips, and sound effects are available too. Author talks about using these information while making a Kung-Fu movie with a camcorder and a bunch of kids, which makes it sound very safe, despite all the fighting, Jedi super powers, and knife throwing.
Anyone is up for a movie? :)
The Mirror Project
I came across an interesting photography project – The Mirror Project. Participants photograph their own reflection in the mirror. Sounds simple? Well, it’s not as simple as it might seem. What they do is that they make regular themes, like on any other photography website. For example, there you’ll find your “signs” gallery. All pictures in that gallery will include the reflection of the photographer as well as some sign. Same goes for other galleries.
These people must be really creative, because I can think of about 2 ways only to photograph my reflection in the mirror…
