“XXX” was on TV today. This is an excellent action movie about and with a lot of action.
Vin Diesel and Samuel Jackson are doing slightly more than needed by a movie of this type. Special effects are very nice. The story is totally unbelievable or shown as such. Russians are as bad as usual – with stupid ideas, biggest ambitions, and worst possible English. Chases are nice. Fights – too. Plenty of money going around. Scenery changes from States, to Mexico, to Europe. Lots of Bond 007-style gadgets. Lots of dead bodies. Lots of explosions. Lots of babes.
What else do you need? 7 out of 10 if watched in the cinema as I did long time ago. 7 out of 10 if watched on DVD as I did long time ago. 6.5 if watched on the crappy channel as I did today. Enjoy.
