I bring you bad news this time. My ISP informed me that there will be a change to my IP address shortly. This means that there will be an interruption in service of all websites hosted on my server.

I have already intiated some preliminary DNS changes. The biggest changes will take place tomorrow and after tomorrow. I’ll let you know once everything is over.

My appologies for any inconveniences.

Note to myself: Leonid, you should really move all the websites to proper hosting.

Update: There was some misunderstanding. The will be a change of IP address, but not for my home server. Some other piece of network equipment will be changed. The change of IP will be transparent. But, unfortunately, I’ve already did some DNS shaking. Things should calm down a bit. If you notice any malfunction, don’t worry. It should be gone today or tomorrow.
