Robin Williams – Weapons Of Self Destruction

Outside of the US, Robin Williams is mostly known for his movie acting career.  But in the States, his stand-up comedy success goes hand-in-hand with the movies and theater.  I’ve seen quite cuts of his gigs on YouTube, but it’s a first time that I came across a full-length show.  “Weapons of Self Destruction” is a 1.5 hour video on YouTube.  If you don’t mind a lot of swearing, it will send you laugh, while covering a variety of subjects – from stereotypes and politics to progress and drugs abuse.  Enjoy!

Microwave Dave & The Nukes – Road Runner

Here’s a blues band that gets me moving and shaking and singing every single time – Microwave Dave & The Nukes.  I’ve got an album of theirs and pretty much every single song is full of energy.  I couldn’t find any official videos, so here’s a semi-street performance video of their Road Runner.  But you can get some of their music in good quality mp3 format.

 

Best of “Just for Laughs”

I’ve seen “Just for Laughs” TV comedy program a few times.  Some of their gigs aren’t that bad, but mostly it’s a bit silly.  A few days ago though I came across a compilation of their best stuff in a single YouTube video.  While not all of it is super supreme, a few gigs are nothing short of brilliant.  I think it’s worth the time.
