I love photography. For me, it’s like painting, but better. And more accurate. And unlike painting, I can actually participate. I am not a big success or great master by any means. But I enjoy taking pictures. I also enjoy looking at other people work and sometimes sharing it. When I do, this is the category that I use.

Brick wall office

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to work in an old building with naked brick walls. My current office building is not very old, but it being a design company office before we moved in, it does of course feature some nrick walls. But somehow knowing the fact that these walls aren’t real, that these bricks are for design and decoration purposes only, it all feels fake. I still want to work in a brick wall office. But I want real brick walls, not decorations.

Waves brought by typhoon Nesat

Big Picture covers the typhoon Nesat that caused havoc in several Asian countries – India, Pakistan, China, Thailand, Philippines.  While most of the pictures there attempt to show the scale of the destruction and suffering, I was mesmerized by this one, which displays the powers of nature.
