How does he do this? With Blutooth? Our desktops are really limited – no WiFi, no USB, no nothing. Not sure it can be done here. But it’s a nice idea. :)

@mamchenkov You can easily forge headers having no access to colleague’s desktop whatsoever ;)
Almost all my co-workers (Windows forever) leave their desktops unlocked. Think to do something to teach them respect security :)
I think security is overrated. But an occasional joke in the workplace is not. :)

Michael Stepanov, make sure they’re all smaller than you, otherwise they might want to teach you to respect privacy :D
friend of mine uses his Samsung S2 to unlock desktop. As soon as SGS left his desk, desktop is locked :)

No USB?
Nope. Only two ports – for keyboard and mouse, with hardcoded device IDs allowed. Annoying.
bluetooth
Is that a security feature? :D
no.. its not security was cheaper to buy :)
Yup. However, the web access is not restricted, so I can send any data anywhere via http/https. Or via email. Security my ass.
Cheaper to buy too. :)
Do they also spy on your Windows users with SpectorSoft or something similar?
Yup. Gladly, I am on a Linux desktop. :)
put one usb hub and thats it.. :)
ah sorry i forgot.. there is no usb :)
I don’t really need the solution here. Locking the desktop is in my finger memory. I was just curious as to how that one was implemented.
trough BT Linux and blue proximity
Aleksandar Grbic thanks!
