RSS2Exchange is a comercial product that allows one to see RSS feeds as messages in MS Exchange public folders. According to the description, it supports filtering and searching of posts.
The price is somewhat too high though. It would be much easier and cheaper to get some email client that can work with MS Exchange (like Thunderbird) and RSS feeds at the same time. Or just get a separate RSS aggregator…
I found an excellent resource about blues – The Blue Highway. It has everything from blues history and essays about musicians and their work to radio broadcasts, links to other places, and buying guides. A really really nice place on the web. Although they could have got some help with web design.
Eric S. Raymond who is more widely known for his Open Source Software advocacy, has written an excellent post in his blog. It is about the work of a great guitarist Joe Satriani. Eric comments on all Satriani albums, making it really easy to understand the work and experimentation of the musician.
I have only two Satriani’s albums – “Flying in a Blue Dream” (1989) and “Engines of Creation” (2000). I’ve heard few other tidbits, but nothing that I can organize in my head or comment on that I remember. Eric’s article makes me want to get some more Satriani music. Links anyone?
I’ve added yet another category for my posts: Music. Having categories for Movies and Photography and not having anything for Music seemed disharmonal to me for some time now. So, here it goes. Don’t expect too many posts in this category though, since music is not playing any important role in my life. Currently at least.
There are plenty of sites around showing the counter of Iraq war cost. The number is usually pretty high up there in the billions. Not many people can imagine that amount of money. One of the websites that help with visualization is A Little Perspective on $87 billion.
