Limassol Zoo

Lion

You probably won’t believe me, but it is true – today I visited Limassol Zoo for the first time. Yes, after living in the city for almost 10 years and not being terribly busy with other things, I finally found those 30 minutes to spend.

As much as I want to be positive on all things and just share the light and comfort of my life with everything, this post is going to be a depressive rant full of negative. If you want to skip it, please, by all means do so. I’ll just tell you that I didn’t like the Zoo and will probably never go back. Oh, that was a lie. I will have to go there when my son will be old enough to be educated about animal abuse.

On the other hand, if you are not scared of few dark details, whining, complaining and want to know all the truth, than read on.

Tomorrow will be the last movie showing day of the Festival. I misread this information when I posted it the first time.

Geostamping

In an attempt to promote Cyprus on the Web, as well as draw some additional traffic to my blog, I’ve installed the Geo plugin for WordPress. All my entries from now will be properly stamped with geographic coordinates.

Since I don’t travel a lot, and even don’t have a GPS device yet, most of my entries will carry a generic Limassol coordinates (latitude: 34.67500, longitude: 33.03333). At times when I will be posting from places other than Limassol, I will adjust the coordinates accordingly.

On t-shirts

I’m sure that everyone has seen a billion of silly, funny, ugly, cool, and stily t-shirts. They are all over the place and one doesn’t have to work hard to find some cool picture or a wise saying inprinted on a t-shirt. Very often the combination of the t-shirt’s design with the appearence of the person who wears it makes for additional fun.

During the last couple of days I’ve seen some excellent combinations. Here are the best three described.
