A Good Night to Die

One of the advantages of winter (my fav season) is more movie watching. Today it was “A Good Night to Die“. The movie itself is rather slow and predictable, but camera work is outstanding! It’s like watching a huge photoalbum of art pictures. Excellent! With my recently increased interest in photography, this movie was a real pleasure to watch. :)

Since Thursday, I am running around making pictures like crazy. Nothing to show yet, though. Borrowing the camera from Hazard was a good idea. Now I can play with all the stuff I’ve read about (…and still reading about). Surprisingly, lenses material became as clear as day. Everything else is coming nicely too. As soon as I will have anything properly done, I’ll put it in the Photos section. Practice makes perfect, they say… :)

Matchstick Men

It’s been a long time since Olga, Hazard and myself went to the movies last time. Today we decided to improve the situation. “Matchstick Men” was rather good. Predictable, but good. Nicolas Cage delivered the best performance I’ve seen from him. The girl was good too as was Frank. It’s a nice movie to see on a grey, wet, rainy day as it was today.

OK, I’ll call this November “The Hospital and Desease Month”. Fortunately, Olga is finally home and is recovering fast. Her mother today undergone the same operation as Olga did few days ago. And, my brother got ill. I really wish all of them (and everyone else) to get healthy and stay there.

Over with it now, and on to December – the holiday season. :)
