And it is entirely my fault.  I haven&#8217;t thoroughly investigated available database alternatives and their limitations.<\/p>\n<p>It turned out that MySQL is not the best alternative for this specific case, although I am enjoying it in many other projects.  PostgreSQL seems to be the next best choice and it doesn&#8217;t have the limitations which are important for this project.
