Titled “Mississippi Burning<\/a>“. I was still considering, so I checked IMDB for the rating. It came up with 7.6, so I decided to watch it.<\/p>\n

It turned out, the film was on one of my favourite subjects – racism. Now, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I like films about racism not because I enjoy the issue, but because I think that a good reminder of this problem never hurts.<\/p>\n

And not only the film a reminder – it was an excellent piece of work. I guess it was based on some historical events, but I suppose it wasn’t fully historical. Never-the-less, the story is excellent and the points that should be in focus were nicely focused at.<\/p>\n

Directing was good, acting was excellent – especially by Gene Hackman, soundtrack wasn’t standing out, which probably means it was pretty good, and the setup with decorations, costumes, and make-ups was great.<\/p>\n

Overall, this is one of the films I’d recommend watching once in a while.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n
