One of the reasons that I like to watch movies over and over again is that I can see them from a different perspective. I like it when some time passes between re-watches. And watching some other movies in between is a good thing too.<\/p>\n
I was watching “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” again today. I’ve seen it a lot of times before, but something occured to me only today. This film can be separated into two parts. The first part would tell the story of Harry Potter, how he got to the wizzard school and how all of his training went. The second part would be exclusively about the Sorcerer’s Stone.<\/p>\n
Now, for additional fun, these two parts can be remixed with other movies – either soundtracks only or, maybe, even the visuals too. While watching the film today, two movies that would be perfect for remixing came to my mind. The first one is “Full Metal Jacket”, which has the best drill instructor ever. And the second one is “Snatch.”, which is all about getting the stone.<\/p>\n
The mix is so clear in my mind that I was annoying the hell out of Olga by quoting both “Full Metal Jacket” and “Snatch.” into the “Harry Potter”. It’s a good thing you know, that I’ve seen all of these films like a billion time and can easily quote them back and forward from start to end.
