\"Ed“Ed Wood<\/a>” has been the first movie on my wishlist for more than two years now. None of the local DVD rentals had it. I couldn’t find it in the shops. And I haven’t seen any trace of it online. That all was very surprising considering a high rating of this film at IMDB. Finally I managed to get my hands on the copy of the film.<\/p>\n

“Ed Wood<\/a>” is a good movie which I didn’t like. It’s just not for my taste. Non-the-less, this is an original piece with some outstanding acting in. Johnny Depp<\/a> is unrecognizable, but as good as always and Martin Landau<\/a> was great too.<\/p>\n

Although the film was released in 1994, it was comletely done in black-and-white which I think worked nicely there. The film is about old times and black-and-white added good sense of the past. Actually, it was rather hard to imagine that the film was made in the 90-ies. Everything looked and felt old.<\/p>\n

I would appreciate more pace for the movie and a different ending. Something less optimistic could have worked better I guess.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n
