\"My“My Stepmother Is an Alien<\/a>” was on TV. I’ve seen it before, of course, but since it’s a rather nice movie, I decided to watch it yet again.<\/p>\n

“My Stepmother Is an Alien<\/a>” is a nice family movie. It has few references to sex and “adults’ moments”, but those I somewhat gentle. IMDB doesn’t have a rating on it, but if it had, I guess it would be PG-13.<\/p>\n

What I like about this film is that it is very kind. It is filled and overfilled with positive vibes. And this makes it very valuable, especially after a long day in the office. It takes away all the pressure and stress. And none of the stupidities<\/strike> childness of the story and acting can take it away.<\/p>\n

Another interesting side of this film is its antiqueness. Alyson Hannigan<\/a> plays the daughter of the “mad” scientist and Seth Green<\/a> plays her boyfriend. Both of them are well-known and respected actors now. Alyson has got her promotion with the “American Pie<\/a>” and its sequels, as well as from a TV show about the vampires – “Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/a>“. Seth starred in those TV series too, but he also pushed his career up the rating tables playing the son of Dr.Evil in “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery<\/a>” and sequels as well as “The Italian Job<\/a>” (remake of the great classic from 1969<\/a>).<\/p>\n

“My Stepmother Is an Alien<\/a>” both Alyson and Seth are about 14 years old. They are made up to play even younger (it seemed to me) kids. And they look funny. Of course, it is not as dramatic as with Drew Barrymore<\/a> being 7 years old in “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial<\/a>“, but still exciting.<\/p>\n

Anyway, the film is good. It provides proper entertainment and promotes good moral values, while being a little childish on the whole setup. I do recommend it for the home collection for occasional watching with growing up kids.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n
