Today is the national holiday &#8211; Greece Independence Day.  Cyprus has a very strong connection with Greece and celebrates many Greek holidays nation-wide.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a military parade in Limassol on the Makariou III Ave. .  I am not sure about the time, but my guess is somewhere around 11:00am.  There will probably be something in Nicosia too.<\/p>\n<p>Since I am working in the NOC during the first half of the day, I won&#8217;t be able to attend and photograph the parade.
