I’ve just came across this story<\/a> which dates back to 1997. Apparently, immidiately after a release of the new version of Internet Explorer few people got drunk and overproud. So they took the huge meta “e” (logo of MS Internet Explorer), drove it to the Netscape office and left it standing nearby in the middle of the night. Fortunately, Netscape people, who usually work in the middle of the night, noticed the thing. So, they dropped it on the side, painted “Netscape NOW” on top of it, and put their own Godzilla-like mascot over it.<\/p>\n
