\nJust watches “L’Auberge espagnole<\/a>” (aka “The Spanish Apartment”). Excellent movie. There is something about European movies that I like, but I am not sure I can define what it is. They are way more original, maybe. In the sense that there is always something different about the film. Camera work, music, scenery, situation. I don’t know. But there is something that makes me want to watch it. There is also style. Always. And humour. <\/p>\n

I think I haven’t seen one single European movie without humour in it. “The Spanish Apartment” was a dramatic comedy, so there was a whole bunch of humour. But drama was excellent too. There were some bits that I feel strongly about but until now I wasn’t sure that it was possible to easily show them in the movie. For example, when few people (students in this case) rent the same apartment together, and they are not really friends, but they are so close that when trouble comes to one of them, all of them forget whatever they were doing and literally run to help the person in need. This movie shows few things like perfectly, but without too much hussle. Bravo.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n
