Pretty much everything works as it did before.  Except for Docker, which suddenly fails to start the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A quick Google search pointed to the discussion in <a href=\"https:\/\/bugzilla.redhat.com\/show_bug.cgi?id=1746355\">this bug report<\/a>, where I found the solution that worked for me:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Edit <em>\/etc\/sysconfig\/grub<\/em><\/li><li>Append <em>systemd.unified_cgroup_hierarchy=0<\/em> to the <em>GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX<\/em> variable<\/li><li>Run &#8220;<em>grub2-mkconfig -o \/boot\/efi\/EFI\/fedora\/grub.cfg<\/em>&#8220;<\/li><li>Reboot<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the machine came back up, docker service was running normally.<\/p>\n<!-- google_ad_section_end -->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start -->\n<p>I&#8217;ve updated my laptop to Fedora 31 over the Christmas holidays.
