Instead of serving images directly from their original external host servers, Gmail will now\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/mail?p=display_images\">serve all images<\/a>\u00a0through Google\u2019s own secure proxy servers.<\/p>\n<p>So what does this mean for you? Simple: your messages are more safe and secure, your images are checked for known viruses or malware, and you\u2019ll never have to press that pesky \u201cdisplay images below\u201d link again.
