RE-Act."},"content":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start -->\n<p>Since the last <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tedxnicosia.com\/\">TEDxNicosia<\/a> event <a href=\"https:\/\/mamchenkov.net\/wordpress\/2011\/12\/01\/tedxnicosia-thoughts-and-impressions\/\">back in 2011<\/a>, everyone and their brother were asking: &#8220;<em>When? \u00a0When is the next one? \u00a0And how do I get there?<\/em>&#8221; \u00a0Well, guess what &#8211; the next TEDxNicosia event is <strong>this Saturday<\/strong> (March 9, 2013)!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"660\" height=\"372\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L_lPv0igcI0?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/div><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s the good news. \u00a0The bad news are that the event is totally sold out. \u00a0In fact, all tickets were sold out in 72 hours! \u00a0 If you don&#8217;t have a ticket now, \u00a0you aren&#8217;t going this time. \u00a0Sad, I know. \u00a0But that&#8217;s not all the news either. \u00a0I have more.<\/p>\n<p>(drum roll, nervous shaking, breath in, breath out, &#8230; go!)<\/p>\n<p>Marina Theodotou, the event organizer, has invited me to attend the event in the capacity of the blogger. \u00a0Yes, that&#8217;s right. \u00a0This is my first &#8220;official&#8221; time. \u00a0I&#8217;ll be there for the whole day, blogging, tweeting, snapping pictures, and what not. \u00a0I&#8217;ll tell you all about it. \u00a0I promise. \u00a0But before I even start, here is the disclaimer: <em>\u00a0the only compensation\/gain that I received or will receive is the complimentary ticket to the event<\/em> (Thank you, Marina). \u00a0<em>All of the views, opinions, writing, tweets and images posted on this blog or in social networks under my accounts, are of my authorship, unless otherwise stated.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Now, with that cleared, I have to say that I am super exciTED. \u00a0I can&#8217;t wait to get there, listen to speeches and presentations, and hang out with some really cool people. \u00a0Just a couple of days to go!<\/p>\n<!-- google_ad_section_end -->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start -->\n<p>Since the last TEDxNicosia event back in 2011, everyone and their brother were asking: &#8220;When? \u00a0When is the next one? \u00a0And how do I get there?&#8221; \u00a0Well, guess what &#8211; the next TEDxNicosia event is this Saturday (March 9, 2013)!
