The table is probably corrupted&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>After a recent upgrade of some of my CentOS 6.3 servers to MySQL 5.5 from the <a href=\"http:\/\/rpms.famillecollet.com\/\">Remi repository<\/a>, I started noticing errors like this one in the logs, especially during backups:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>MySQL: SHOW FUNCTION STATUS WHERE Db = \u2018name\u2019: Cannot load from mysql.proc. The table is probably corrupted<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A quick search revealed that this is do to &#8216;mysqld_upgrade&#8217; script not being run automatically against the existing database. \u00a0A quick and simple solution is to just run the script manually. \u00a0Of course, a full database backup is recommended before doing so. \u00a0Mine worked just fine though.<\/p>\n<!-- google_ad_section_end -->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start -->\n<p>Fixing MySQL error &#8220;Cannot load from mysql.proc.
