Other times, it&#8217;s as simple as a security question on a weird web form.<\/p>\n<p>If you ask me blindly, straight up, no thinking, I&#8217;d have to say that <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Winston_Churchill\">Winston Churchill<\/a> is my number one favorite historical character. \u00a0He was an iconic leader, very smart and powerful man. \u00a0But with that, he also had a great sense of humor. \u00a0He also smoked cigars and drank plenty of alcohol, and, somehow, managed to live until he was 90 years old. \u00a0Oh, and he didn&#8217;t like math.<\/p>\n<p>My other favorite historical character is <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Benjamin_Franklin\">Benjamin Franklin<\/a>. \u00a0Again, a very smart and powerful man, with common origins. \u00a0I have the most respect for his scientific and social advances, as well as the inventions. \u00a0The thought about all those things that he started that we still use and rely on today amazes me every time.<\/p>\n<p>My third, and most recent addition to the \u00a0favorite historical person pool is <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nikola_Tesla\">Nikola Tesl<\/a>a, aka the electrical Jesus. \u00a0And even though I knew who he was and some of what he&#8217;s done before, I have to thank <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3gOR91oentQ\">this Drunk History video<\/a> for pushing Tesla way up my list.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"660\" height=\"372\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3gOR91oentQ?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/div><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">So, that&#8217;s me. \u00a0Who&#8217;s your favorite and, most importantly, why?<\/p>\n<!-- google_ad_section_end -->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start -->\n<p>Once in a while I come across the question of who is my favorite historical character. \u00a0Sometimes, it&#8217;s over a discussion with friends.
