I hope I’ll never need to use any crutches, but if I ever do, I’ll probably settle for a pair of these. \u00a0I’ve shown them around to a few people, and each one of them who tried walking with the regular crutches, agreed that Mobilegs Crutches<\/a> are superior in design. \u00a0I found them while reading “design is everybody’s business<\/a>“.<\/p>\n

When one of Herman Miller\u2019s designers,\u00a0Jeff Weber<\/a>, broke his foot, he realized how awfully-designed crutches were.\u00a0 Not just uncomfortable, they can damage nerves, arteries, and tissue, and it\u2019s easy to slip and cause more pain or more injury. \u00a0So he went about designing a better crutch (Mobilegs<\/a>).\u00a0 This is a perfect example of the purposefulness that informs the company\u2019s designs.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n
