a Delicious d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu"},"content":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start -->\n<p><a href=\"Bit.ly\">Bit.ly<\/a> is a famous and widely used URL shortening service. \u00a0Or at least it used to be until a few days ago, when a <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.bitly.com\/post\/23998132587\/welcome-to-the-new-bitly\">new Bit.ly was introduced<\/a>. \u00a0I managed to miss the announcement, so it was only today that I saw it. \u00a0Being a fan of (almost) all new and shiny, I looked around. \u00a0And within seconds I had this strong feeling of\u00a0d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu. \u00a0And this time I didn&#8217;t even have to think hard to guess where I saw this before. \u00a0The answer was obvious and it was staring at me &#8211; browser addons, mobile applications, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Social aspect of bookmarking &#8211; bit.ly now integrates Twitter and Facebook friend&#8217;s public bookmarks into your network stream.<\/li>\n<li>Bundles &#8211; I think that&#8217;s one of the major differences between a URL shortening service and a bookmarking service. \u00a0With URL shortening there is no need (or it is really small) of organizing URLs &#8211;
