I’ve heard \u00a0quite a few positive reviews of the “Brothers<\/a>” movie. \u00a0By chance I got my hands on a copy of it, so I watched.<\/p>\n

My feelings about this film are mixed. \u00a0On one hand, I think that there should be more war movies out there. \u00a0Pretty much any kind will do – hero stories, the ugliness of war, political intrigue – anything. \u00a0War is something that people should know more about and think more about. \u00a0Maybe then we’ll have more peace.<\/p>\n

And “Brothers” movie fits the bill. \u00a0There should be more films like this. \u00a0It’s just that I didn’t quite get this one in particular. \u00a0The beginning and middle of the film were nice and engaging, but it got somehow messed up by the end. \u00a0Or I just didn’t get it. \u00a0I don’t know.<\/p>\n

There was plenty of good acting, especially for the main characters. \u00a0The score was fine. \u00a0The dynamics were pretty good, and the switching between the peaceful times and the war zone. \u00a0The horror of war was illustrated nicely. \u00a0But, as I said, the ending didn’t do it for me. \u00a0So I’m sort of lost there.<\/p>\n

Overall, still recommended, even with 4 out of 5<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n
