Big Picture<\/a> has yet another amazing collection of photographs. \u00a0This time it consists of color pictures of Russia, Georgia,\u00a0Uzbekistan,\u00a0Kazakhstan\u00a0and a few other areas a whole century ago<\/a>. \u00a0Some of these images are beautiful. \u00a0Like this picture of \ufeffNikolaevskii Cathedral from southwest in Mozhaisk in 1911.<\/p>\n

When I see things like this, it often makes me think about the church and how it abuses and explores the poor people. \u00a0It’s not only now, it must have always been like this.<\/p>\n

Or here is another picture. Pinkhus Karlinskii, eighty-four years old with sixty-six years of service. \u00a0Photo taken in 1909.<\/p>\n
