Watching large businesses can often be entertaining, especially here, in Cyprus, where they seem to think that nobody outside the island will know what they do.\u00a0 Fresh are the memories<\/a> of Woolworths malls re-branding to Ermes, and then to Debenhams, within the same year or so.\u00a0 And here comes the new story of the recently opened Tiffany Shopping Mall<\/a> in Limassol.\u00a0 Apparently, the name conflict was enough for an American Tiffany & Co. to start legal proceedings.\u00a0 Shortly after that, Tiffany Shopping Mall was renamed to “My Mall”.<\/p>\n

Firstly, how difficult is it to Google the name before opening the biggest store in town?\u00a0 I guess, that’s asking too much.<\/p>\n

Secondly … My Mall?\u00a0 Really?\u00a0 The only worse name that I can come up with is iMall.\u00a0 Yes, that bad.\u00a0 Even “The Mall” is better.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n
