But for the last couple of days I am having a new experience with it &#8211; virtual presence.<\/p>\n<p>Last year I attended <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greekbloggercamp.gr\/\">Greek Blogger Camp<\/a>.\u00a0 It was <a href=\"https:\/\/mamchenkov.net\/wordpress\/2007\/06\/08\/greek-blogger-camp-2007\/\">a lot of fun<\/a>.\u00a0 This year however I didn&#8217;t manage to get in due to some work obligations.\u00a0 However those guys who are there, they twit a lot (particularly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pestaola.gr\/\">Stefanos<\/a> himself).\u00a0 That sort of brings me there without any travelling.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, I miss a lot, I know.\u00a0 But getting <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/gbc\">SMS updates with pointers to what is going over there<\/a> helps quite a bit.\u00a0 And not only I get a part of the atmosphere, but also some helpful tips from the presentations that are going on.\u00a0 Then, with Google in my hands, I can dive deeper into the subject, and even somewhat participate in the discussion there by twitting my questions and getting answers.<\/p>\n<p>This digital world sure is amazing!<\/p>\n<!-- google_ad_section_end -->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start -->\n<p>Twitter is many things to many people.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a lot of things to me too (status updates, communication channel, notes application, self-reminders, etc).
