{"id":11074,"date":"2008-02-26T01:06:12","date_gmt":"2008-02-25T22:06:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mamchenkov.net\/wordpress\/2008\/02\/26\/february-the-month-of-family-migrations\/"},"modified":"2008-02-26T01:06:12","modified_gmt":"2008-02-25T22:06:12","slug":"february-the-month-of-family-migrations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mamchenkov.net\/wordpress\/2008\/02\/26\/february-the-month-of-family-migrations\/","title":{"rendered":"February &#8211; the month of family migrations"},"content":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start -->\n<p>My family is not very big.\u00c2\u00a0 And it&#8217;s not very mobile.\u00c2\u00a0 My parents are divorced and they leave in Russia.\u00c2\u00a0 My brother lives in Cyprus, where I stayed together with my wife and kid.\u00c2\u00a0 And has been so for a long time.<\/p>\n<p>And suddenly, here comes the movement.\u00c2\u00a0 First, just before February started, Olga and Maxim went to Russia.\u00c2\u00a0 My mother-in-law is very sick and my wife went to stay by her side.\u00c2\u00a0 Then, my mother came over to Cyprus to visit us for a few days, as well as relax for some time in the mountains and take a short break from her work.\u00c2\u00a0 She then left back to Moscow.<\/p>\n<p>But she didn&#8217;t go alone.\u00c2\u00a0 My brother went with her.\u00c2\u00a0 The guy stayed in Cyprus for a few long years, and now urgently needed to leave the island for a few days, related somehow to his paperwork.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m going to pick him up from the airport tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>My brother wanted to travel to Togliatti, Russia, where our dad lives.\u00c2\u00a0 Dad celebrated his 50th birthday recently (Happy Birthday, Pa!) and it was very unfortunately that neither I, nor my brother could attend the party. \u00c2\u00a0 It so happened that the planned trip to Togliatti had to be canceled &#8211; once again due to the virtues of the paperwork.\u00c2\u00a0 However, dad took the initiative and the train to Moscow, so that he could meet with my brother Alex even if just for a few days.\u00c2\u00a0 I hear that they had some really great time.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe for some, this all looks like a routine. But not for me.\u00c2\u00a0 People in our family don&#8217;t travel all that much.
