{"id":10962,"date":"2007-12-08T16:03:00","date_gmt":"2007-12-08T13:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mamchenkov.net\/wordpress\/2007\/12\/08\/getting-rid-of-my-hardware-museum\/"},"modified":"2007-12-08T16:03:00","modified_gmt":"2007-12-08T13:03:00","slug":"getting-rid-of-my-hardware-museum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mamchenkov.net\/wordpress\/2007\/12\/08\/getting-rid-of-my-hardware-museum\/","title":{"rendered":"Getting rid of my hardware museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start -->\n<p>In the pre-Christmas cleanup craze, I cleaned out the bigger part of my in-house computer history museum.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 In cold blood, I threw away about 40 kilograms of computer hardware.\u00c2\u00a0 Among that were a few kilometers of network wires, all sorts of power and signal cables, power supplies, video cards, sound cards, network cards, keyboards, and more.\u00c2\u00a0 There were some really ancient things that no long work, like a 80386 laptop and a 9600 baud speed fax-modem with built-in printer and scanner.<\/p>\n<p>But.
